DAY 1:

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT – BUENOS AIRES. (International Airport).

Upon your arrival, welcome by one of our Novalys representatives. Transfer and installation in your hostel. Novalys will be waiting for you in the hostel lounge, with a wine glass of the area. You guide will present you your trip in Argentina and in Chile and will rest on your disposal to give an answer to all your questions.

Your hostel has a very provided cellar. It will be the occasion to give these first savors to your palate.

In order to begin this stay in the best conditions, we suggest you a massage session in the hostel SPA, a real heaven of comfort and voluptuousness.

Faena + Universe,

Maybe the most beautiful building of Buenos Aires. Drew by the dressmaker Alain Faena and the designer Philippe Starck, the Faena+Universe hostel has an avant-gardism and futuristic style with a small retro touch : the perfect harmony. More than a simple facade and a sumptuous decoration, this hostel has also lots of exceptional services : upscale restaurant, very provided library, open bar and swimming-pool, cabaret where you could see some famous Tango shows, and a fitness and SPA centre offering yoga, massage and meditation sessions, according to old Indian methods.

DAY 2:

DISCOVERY OF BUENOS AIRES AND TIGER DELTA. (Private Van / Boat).

Buenos Aires is a European city with a Tango and retro touch which give her all its charm. From a district to another, from the business centre, to the Boca district with its small houses built with some materials come from boats, through the San Telmo district, its Tango bar and its antique shops, you could discover the Argentina well-being and simplicity.

In the afternoon, a private van will drive you to the modish seaside, few kilometers from the capital, Tiger. On a motorboat, you will navigate in order to discover the numerous small Tiger Delta Islands. Return to your hostel for a Tango dinner-show, with lots of colors and music.

Rojo Tango Cabaret,

One of the most beautiful Tango shows of the capital, in an intimate and hushed atmosphere of the Faena+Universe Cabaret. You could enjoy a gastronomic meal with Argentinean savors : a magical night to begin you stay.

Restaurant Side,

The chief, Mariano Cid de la Paz, Latino-American cuisine ambassador will show you his skills in one of two hostel’s restaurants : El Bistro restaurant with its white and gold decoration which proposes a reinterpreted international cuisine.

Or the typical El Mercado restaurant which proposes a Argentinean traditional cuisine in a particular atmosphere with some stars pictures on the walls : From Eva Peron to Che Guevara, from Jorge Luis Borges to Astor Piazzola, from Maradona to the singer Sandro : a real trip of savors, colors and music.

DAY 3:

BUENOS AIRES – MENDOZA – LUJAN of CUYO AREA. (Plane / Private Van).

In the morning, transfer in a private van for your flight to Mendoza, Argentinean wine capital, in the middle of the famous wine-producing area of Lujan de Cuyo. A gastronomic lunch, 100% Argentinean savors, with 5 different wines, in the Bodega restaurant, the best cellar/restaurant from Argentina in 2011.

During the afternoon, you could discover the Mendoza city, its historical district, its terrace cafes. Installation in your “Relais et Château” hostel : he Cavas Wine Lodge.

En option,

Tasting session with the wine steward, or rest and pleasure moments on the hostel’s Spa in which you could discover the benefits of the winetherapy.

Bodega Ruca Malen,

The Bodega Ruca Malenwo was founded by two French people : Jean Pierre Thibad and Jacques de Montalembert who share the same passion the love of the Mendoza area.

The Bodega Ruca Malen proposes Merlo, Malbec, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon based wines, sell under the Ruca, Kilien, Malén and Yauquén brands.

The Cavas Wine Lodge Castle,

This Relais and Château hostel is composed of some little independent palaces offering rooms and suites with terraces, giving to you a sumptuous view on the Andean mountains and vineyards. An establishment sharing beauty, luxury and design.

DAY 4:

VISIT of the LUJAN de CUYO AREA and the UCO VALLEY. (Private Van).

It is another valley as splendid as fertile which awaits you today in your wines route.

In the morning, departure in a private van to the Uco valley. The Bodega Antucura and its upscale red wines will wait for you. Tasting session and gastronomic picnic in the 10 hectares wild park of the field.

During the afternoon, visit of Monteviejo, neighbor property, from the Clos de los Siete project. Return to the Casa Antucura to have a dinner on the hostel’s terrace where you could see the nightfall on the vines : a unique rest and pleasure moment.

The Bodega Monteviejo,

Seven friends, seven reputed French industrialists, meet together in Argentina to plant vineyards on an exceptional field, which is in a perfect harmony with this environment of any beauty. Thus, Catherine Péré-Vergé, Benjamin Rostchild, Laurent Dassault, Bertrand Cuvelier, Alfred Bonnie and recently the famous French enologist Michel Rolland, created one of the most splendid cellar of the area. The Clos de los Siete is a blend of Malbec, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet.

Antucura Hostel,

An unique setting, a devoted staff and owners loving wines will share with you their passion. The Antucura hostel has a 10 hectares park, a 84 hectares vineyard, a semi-Olympic swimming-pool and a cinema. Specialist in the upscale red wine, the Antucura cellar proposes 3 labels : Antucura, Calvucura and Barrandica.

DAY 5:

VISIT of the UCO VALLEY (Private Van).

In the morning, departure in a private van to visit the Salentein vineyard and enjoy its field, 2000 hectares in which 455 vines. It is a rest day for you : wine tasting, ride excursion in the Finca field with exceptional points of view on the Andes and the Tupungato Volcano (6800m) or visit of the hostel’s painting and sculpture gallery.

At the end of the journey, you could choose a rest and well-being moment : Spa and massages, Argentinean cuisine lessons or an introduction to the astronomy looking the Argentinean sky. Night in the Posada Salentein.

En Option,

In the morning, you could begin you day with the visit of another famous vineyard, the Bodega Lurton, in which you could taste some wines realized with Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah Chardonnay, Chenin, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon and Torrontès grape varieties.

The Bodega Salentein,

The Bodegas Salentein are the property of the most important Mendoza’s famillies. The total surface reaches two thousands hectares in which 455 just for the vines. These cultures are among the highest cultures in the world. The cultivated grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, under Salentein, Numina, Primus and Los Leones labels.

DAY 6:

ANDES CROSSING: FROM ARGENTINA to CHILE – THERMAL BATHS of JAHUEL. (Private Van).

As mythical and splendid, it is with the Road 7 that you will cross the border between Argentina and Chile. On you route, you will do a stop to admire the Penitents Formation, a surprising ice structures, then you will cross the Inca Bridge to discover its accommodations. You will cross the Aconcagua park where you could see a perfect shaking between pre-Colombian civilizations, fauna and flora.

In Chile, you will arrive in a new famous wine-producing valley, the Aconcagua Valley, well-known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and its Syrah production. The hostel’s Spa and thermal centre, Thermal baths of Jahuel, will open their doors to you, for a relaxation and re-arrangement afternoon.

Skiing in Chile,

Skiing in Chile : for lovers, we will propose you here, to insert a skiing day or more in Portillo, the oldest winter sports resort of South America, located in few kilometers from your hostel. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere, an accessible field for all kinds of skiers : an original interlude and a real breath of pure air in your travel.

DAY 7:

THERMAL BATHS of JAHUEL – VALPARAISO. (Private Van).

your first Chilean vineyards which will surprise you : the Errazuriz vineyard, one of the largest and oldest Chilean vineyards.

Lunch in the town house/hacienda, La Casa San Regis, built in the XVIII century.

In the afternoon, you will be on route to the Valparaiso city, located on the Pacific coast, through the beach district : Viña del Mar. Valparaiso, a Chilean Saint Tropez, a seaside very popular for well-off Santiago inhabitants. That is why we suggest you to enjoy your free evening to feel and appreciate this particular atmosphere. The hostel is on the Cerro Alegra hill, panoramic view on the Valparaiso bay.

The Bodega Errazuriz,

The Bodega Errazuriz is the oldest Bodega of the Aconcagua Valley and so an important monument in Chile. Every years, criticisms award its productions. Among its labels, Don Maxmiano, La Cumbre, Single Vineyard, Max Reserva, Viñedo Chadwick. A varied offer, several grape varieties and blends which will be appreciated by your palate.

DAY 8:

VALPARAISO – CASABLANCA VALLEY – SAN ANTONIO VALLEY (Private Van).

In the morning, walk through the Valparaiso city. Thanks to a old funicular you will reach the heights of this city and will discover Valparaiso and its Concepciόn and Alegre districts. Then through lots of small streets you will go to the Mirador of 21st of May, to admire its wonderful panorama on the Valparaiso bay.

At the beginning of the afternoon, departure to the Casablanca Valley : an evocative name of pleasure and Epicureanism, with its divine white wine, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay productions. Several famous bodegas worth the trip.

We suggest you the William Cole Bodega, one of the most famous and a detour in the Indomita Bodega to show its white palace. Then you will travel to San Antonio Valley for a rest and well-being moment in the hostel and to do a tasting in its bodega.

Dinner in the prestigious El Equilibrio hostel’s restaurant where the chief Matias Bustos combines with talent, tradition and innovation, with carefully selected ingredients, for your greater pleasure.

The William Cole Bodega,

Created by an american in 1999, the Boutique William Cole Cellar has a splendid field but also a great quality production ; white wine (Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay) and red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir) under Bill, Columbine, Reserve, Alto Vuelo, Mirador Selection labels. You will appreciate also, the visit of the Bodega where the wine is puttins in the bottle, lots of information.

The Indomita Bodega,

Just for its white palace dominating the hill, this Bodega has to be visited. Its cellar is just a bonus.

Matetic Hostel,

The Matetic hostel is a set of high standing rooms with panoramic terraces, built in the middle of the field. Absolute tranquility. The owner will be happy to propose you a tasting of his productions during your dinner.

DAY 9:

COLCHAGUA VALLEY – SANTA CRUZ. (Private Van).

In the morning, in your private van, you will travel to Colchaga Valley. During your route, Isla Negra visit, a small heaven on earth, where you could discover the famous house of the Chilean Pablo Neruda

During the afternoon, walk in the small Santa Cruz villaje with its back-alley and its museum, the Colchaga museum to discover in, its pre-colombian collection. Then you will join your histel, the Viña de Playa where some optional activities will be propose to you : tasting, massage, aromatherapy, ride a horse or tennis.

Viña Playa Hostel,

The Viña Playa hostel is a large hacienda with a carefully architecture. In the middle of a park in which you could see lots of roses juxtaposing the vineyard. With its large swimming-pool, its tennis and its cycle park, it is a small heaven for you in this field completely out of urban disturbing.

DAY 10:

COLCHAGUA VALLEY – CLOS APALATA (Private Van).

Your day will begin with the Via Manent vineyard visit, one of the oldest Chilean vineyard, well-known for its Malbecs. On feet or on a horse, you will visit the field and its vines to reach a point of view where you could take benefit of a wonderful view on the Colcahgua Valley.

Then, you will spend a rest and relaxation afternoon, and will discover, in the Clos Alpata, a magic location in the middle of mountains and dominating the valley: maybe the most beautiful step you’re your trip. Gastronomic dinner and enchanted night in the Clos Alpata.

The Viu Manent Bodega,

The Viu Manent cellar has an excellent reputation thanks to its delicious Malbecs. Its labels : Viu Manent Single Vineyard, Reserva Estate Collection, Noble Semillin and Secreto, without forgetting its famous vintage : VUI 1. Its restaurant will be there, also, to satisfy your papillae.

Clos Apalta and the Casa Lapostolle,

Maybe our favorite, the Clos Apalta has a luxury residence in the middle of the vines combinating confort, modernity and originality. The elliptic architecture, with 7 levels, used to make the wine according to a clever gravity process. The Casa Lapostolle will delight all wine lovers with its upscale blend of Carmérère, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Merlot.

DAY 11:

VISIT of SANTIAGO de CHILE. (Private Van).

Back to the civilization after few days in another world : in your private van, in the morning, you will go to Santiago de Chile, modern and ultra dynamic capital. Santiago has known conserve its charming and romantic districts. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the San Francisco church and its surroundings.

You couldn’t ignore the Cristobal Mountain where you will benefit of a panoramic view on the city. At the end of the journey, a sotfly walk will be propose to you in the Bellavista district, the artisanal and bohemian district of Santiago, to appreciate these last Chilean moments. Night in the “Boutique l’Ambassadeur” hostel.
