DAY 1:

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT – LIMA. (Jorge Chavez International airport).

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative who will drive you in a private car directly to your hostel in the Miraflores district.

You could taste one of our national cocktails, “Pisco Sour or Algarobina”, and our guide you will do a summary of your trip and will be on your disposal to give an answer to all your questions.

DAY 2:

LIMA – AREQUIPA ½ CITY TOUR. (2335m) – (flight / private car).

Departure at 9 am in a private van with your guide to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, Peru’s second main city. You will be welcomed by our guide and you will be taken to your hostel in a private car.

At the beginning of afternoon, guided tour of the largest convent of the world, an Unesco site, the “Santa Catalina monastery”. Built in 1579, its 20462m2 were composed of 450 recluses who didn’t have any contact with the external world until 1970. Commonly known as “White City”, we will traverse the streets of the town of a bright white, (due to the sillar, main construction material) to discover the wonderful Plaza de Armas (Greater Plaza) bordered by its majestic cathedral. At the end of day, return to you hostel.

Restaurant for the dinner,

El « Alma » restaurant. Traditional cuisine of Arequipa, one of the most typical and creative Peruvian cuisine.

Atmosphere,

Elegance is one of the main characteristics of this restaurant. Its two rooms give you a wonderful on the interior patio.

DAY 3:

AREQUIPA – COLCA. (Private car).

Departure at 07h00 in a private car in direction of the Colca Canyon located in the Peruvian Cordillera of the south which reached 3.270. Its throats are twice deeper than them of the Large Canyon of Colorado, which means it is one of the deepest canyons in the world.

During the way, you will cross the Aguada Blanca reserve where we can see vicunas. Passage of the Patapamapa collar. Installation in your hostel, Las Casitas 5*, a real paradise of relaxation, the perfect escapade to escape the daily stress. During these two days, your preferences will be of the honor.

Massage at the End of the Journey,

At the end of the journey and before the dinner, you will leave you transported by a « TYKA » massage, during one hour, with plants and flowers. You will be free of your tensions.

DAY 4:

COLCA – LEISURE and RELAXATION.

Towards 07H00, departure in private car along the Colca Canyon to join the « Cruz del Condor », this vulture bird which can reach a scale of 3.50m for an adult, using updrafts, it reaches sometimes an altitude of flight of 6000mts.

The Well-being Spa Samay, total relaxation, ultimate escape… “Samay” means “rest” in Quechua, the old Inca language. Located close to the swimming pool, the Spa proposes sauna, treatment rooms, double or individual, and a suite-spa for your care with bath. For natural lovers, on horse, on feet or on a bike, you can explore surroundings and discover the wild beauties of the Canyon and the Colca Valley.

If a voluntary service interests you, we could meet Sister Antonia, member of Maryknoll, who will explain us and will share with us her life beside the poorest. Night dedicated to the well-being.

At the end of the afternoon a variety of massages is offered to you, during 60 minutes you will let yourself transport to absolute well-being sensations. The panoramic views and the undisturbed situation of the Colca Valley will bring you peace and tranquillity. You will relax thanks to Andean plants and massages benefits.

DAY 5:

COLCA – SILLUSTANI – PUNO. (3825mts) – (Private Van).

Early the morning, departure in a private van to the Titicaca Lake. First step at Cruz del Condor, ideal observation post of the majestic Andin Condor. Just before crossing the Andes Cordillera and reaching the altipano and its panoramas, visit of Maca village. For the lunch, we will serve you a basket meal.

On the road, Chullpas de Sillustani visit, funeral tours built in stone which can reach a high of twelve meters. Installation at the hotel.

DAY 6:

PUNO – CHUCUITO – KARINA. (Private Van).

Departure around 8:00 am in a privet van, (2:30 hour journey) to go to the Karina peninsula, zone Aymara. We will follow the Lake banks, this unusual landscape and still virgin, will let us thinking. On the way, Chucuito visit and Plateria peninsula too.

At our arrival, welcome and installation in guest houses. They will explain you their daily activities: work of the ground, breeding, production of home-made cheeses. Lunch in family.

In the afternoon, “Arku Punku” visit on board of artisanal small ships, learning of their king of fishing.

Meals on family, typical evening around a fire camp, dances and music.

Ancestral reading of the future with coca leaves.

Atmosphere,

You will be transported 100 years in the past. This only moment will give you the opportunity to think about you, to appreciate and to put into perspective your daily life. An important moment of sharing and humility.

DAY 7:

PUERTO KARINA – TAQUILE – HUAYLLANO – UROS – PUNO. (Private Boat).

Breakfast with the family, around 08h00 departure on a motorboat to join the Huayllano community, welcome by the Taquile families. Small walk and visit of the island. The community will teach us its ancestral customs (agriculture, weaving, natural medicine).

Typical lunch. At the beginning of the afternoon, we will go down the 527 steps of the island to join our boat in direction of waterborne Uros islands. Created in the XIII century by the Uros to escape from the Incas. Return to Puno towards 5 pm. Installation in your hostel.

DAY 8:

PUNO – CUSCO. (3360mts) – (Andean Explorer Train).

Early in the morning departure from Puno train station, to Andes’ train, first class Orient Express to Cusco.This day permits appreciate unique landscapes from the Altiplano passing by our highest point “La Raya” with the Altitude of 4320 meter where you will do a break.

Gastronomic lunch on board.

Resumed of your trip, the train will begin it progressive way down to the “Navel of the World”. Welcome and transfer to your hostel.

Monasterio Hostel,

The monastery was found in 1595 on the Inca Amaru Qhala palace site. In 1598, it became the San Antonio Abad seminary according the Cusco bishop’s decision, Antonio de la Raya Lordship, who wanted to train catholic priests. Now, the Monasterio hostel is a national interest site protected by the Nation Institute of Culture and has conserved all its characteristics and its charm.

Selected restaurant for the dinner,

A wonderful culinary experience where meals, culinary savours and wines will do only one. All the Cicciolina experience begins by its high knowledge of flavours which will awake your taste buds. In a cosmopolite environment, as the city herself, you will feel that’s you are in your own house.

DAY 9:

CUSCO – CITY TOUR. (Private Van).

“The Navel of the World” in Quechua, was the capital of the Inca´s Empire “Tawantinsuyu”. The legend tells that the city was found in XI or XII century by Manco Capac and Mama Oqllo, both were born at the Titicaca Lake, selected by the god to build this wonderful civilization.

Day dedicated at the discovery of Cusco and it sites. We will begin our visit by the sun temple “Qorikancha”, and the Cathedral, it construction begun in 1560 and finished in 1669. During the afternoon, we will go the 4 Incas ruins: Tambornachay Q’enko – Pukapucara – Sacsayhuaman. Return to Cusco, to discover the picturesque area of “San Blas”. Return to your hotel.

Suggestion :

Possibility to visit Cusco’s market before your city tour.

“El Illariy” restaurant. Monasterio. Traditional and refined cooking based on unique mixed from the region.

Atmosphere,

Based next to the principal yard, decorated by painting from the old seminar of Cusco, it’s the ideal place to degust an eexcllent dinner.

El Inka Spa,

Inspired from Ancestral Andean Rituals.

Explore, go ahead until knowing the bases of the wonderful Inca culture, by living a personnel repairing experience, by purifying your or by reloading you in energy. Benefit of the oxygen lounge, a commode environment, with oxygen where you could read, listen music, watch a movie or just drink a fruit cocktail and recharge your batteries.

DAY 10:

SACRED VALLEY IN A HOT AIR BALLOON. (Private Van / Hot Air Balloon).

Departure at 6 am in a private van to join Maras where we will find our hot air balloon. This unique moment will allow you to discover the Sacred Valley with another look.

Towards 7 am and before the departure, you will participate at a Earth ceremony in order to thanks gods to have a unforgettable flight.

Departure in the hot air balloon, to fly over the Sacred Valley, wonderful view offering splendid landscapes. You could discover snowy mountains as Urubamba, Chichon, Puma Huanca, Salkantay and Veronica.

During your flight, a breakfast will be offered to you. After one hour of flight, we will return to Maras.

We will follow our road to go to the surprising « Salinas de Maras » salt water sources which have been flowed for centuries and still unexploited by the local population who rent one or several parcels.

Luxurious picnic in the Valley.

Departure to the typical village of Ollantaytambo called Ollantaytambo in the honor of “Cacique Ollanta”. According to the oral tradition, this “Cacique” fallen in love with a princess, daughter of the Inca Pachacutec. Fortress visit.

DAY 11:

PLEASURE, WELL – BEING and GASTRONOMY.

Relaxation day in Sol y Luna,

The Sol y Luna has its own horse ranch.

With professionals you will go at 09H00 for a ride in the valley, you will see this area with another look in the middle of its specific flora. Back to the hostel at 12H00.

Lunch buffet in gardens’ hostel.

Free afternoon.

OurSuggestion :

Mechanic sports lovers; you could escape you off the beaten paths on a four-engine car.

A VTT walk in order to be in a perfect harmony with the rare silence.

During the evening, towards 17H00, well-being session during 60 minutes in the Yacu Wasi.

Note :

For cooking lovers, a tasting menu « Table du chef » with its five dishes and its best wines could be propose you.

DAY 12:

YUCAY – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUASCALIENTES. (Vistadome Train).

In the morning, Ollantaytambo fortress visit if we did not have the time to do it the day before. Departure to the Ollantaytambo train station, to get to Machu Picchu city based on the Selva doors.

When you arrive, installation at your hotel with a particular attention. Just after the lunch, short walk in this lush vegetation, where we will discover a large orchid variety “more than 200”unique in this region or our famous hummingbird.

Towards 5pm :

Spa/Massage,

90 minutes of absolute well-being in the UNU spa. In the afternoon, a fabulous Andin sauna with eucalyptus leafs will wait for you. The Eden’s garden and the cloud’s forests, 100% charged in neutral carbonate, will vitalize your spiritual human hide in you. A luxury step, never forget it.

Restaurant selection,

Anxious to surprise your beloved, elegant clothing will be necessary to be on total harmony around a romantic dinner. Unique moment where calm and elegane will be with you.

DAY 13:

AGUASCALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO. (Vistadome Train).

Early in the morning, departure in bus to join the citadel, possibility to go to the Sun Door in order to survey the Machu Picchu with the first sun lights. This third wonder of the world, found in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, American anthropologist, reaching 2400 high meters, will appear just front of you and will let you reflexive.

A site within an extraordinary beauty, in a tropical environment shows the apogee of the Inca Empire. The Machu Picchu will surprise you by its terraces, walls and impressive ramps in a natural setting.

Free lunch. Then departure to the Aguascalientes railway station to Ollantaytambo. We will continue our route in a private van to join Cusco. Installation in your hostel.

Option :

Possibility for good walkers to climb the Huayna Picchu (don’t be scared of heights) or join the Sun door.

DAY 14:

CUSCO – FREE DAY. (Private Van).

Free day, from the morning, possibility to visit Cusco market with its thousand and one colours, served with its local products. Take the opportunity to taste one of our tasty fruit juice or to see one of our “Emolienteros” around the corner, who will prepare you, with delicacy, a natural plants or Kinois extract.

Take the opportunity to get your last purchases with our artisans, who will welcome you with all the attention you need.

In the evening, Novalys will have the pleasure to invite you for your meal departure, on one of our best selection of restaurant, this to thanks you for you trust and you presence in Peru.

DAY 15:

CUSCO – LIMA. (Plane/Private Van).

After the breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Welcome by a Novalys representative and transfer to your hostel.

Free afternoon. Possibility to do your last purchases or take a walk along the limenian coast.
