CUSCO – FREE DAY. (Private Van).
Free day, from the morning, possibility to visit Cusco market with its thousand and one colors, served with its local products. Take the opportunity to taste one of our tasty fruit juice or to see one of our “Emolienteros” around the corner, who will prepare you, with delicacy, a natural plants or Kinois extract.
At the end of this journey briefing concerning the trek with your guide.

CUSCO – PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO – URUBAMBA. (Private van).
Departure in the morning in a private car to the Sacred Valley and to join the typical village of Pisac. Ruins visit, a strategic point for Incas to control the valley. Little walk in the one thousand and one colors art market. Lunch in Pisac.
At the beginning of the afternoon. We will continue our route to the typical village named Ollantaytambo in honour of “Cacique Ollanta”. According to oral tradition, this “Cacique” was in love of a princess, daughter of the Inca Pachacutec. Visit of its stronghold. Installation at the hostel.

…TREKKING – VILCABAMBA
The Vilcabamba cordillera, the last capital of Incas, is composed of high mountains and jungle named Yungas or forest under clouds.
During these 7 days, we will cross an old inca small road and we could observe an exceptional fauna and flora, an important variety of landscapes, lacks, ice caverns, thermal waters to reach the famous Machu Picchu.
DAY 3:URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – MALAGA PASO – VILCABAMBA. (Départ du Trek)
Early in the morning, transfer in a private van to join Huancacalle, departure point of our trek. We will cross the Sacred Valley through the Cachimayo campaign and the Chinchero village (3760m).
Arrival in Ollantaytambo where we will do a short coffee break. Then we will continue our route to Malaga (4315m), the most important point of this journey. Then, descent in the semi tropical valley of Vilcabamba to join the Huancacalle camp (3000m).

VILCABAMBA – VITCOS ROSASPATA – PUMA CHACA – INKA WASI. (Trek)
Early in the morning, departure to visit the surroundings of Huancacalle : Vitcos Rosaspata (3080m) and Nusta Hispana (3050m). Then we will continue our hiking with an exceptional view on the Rio Tincoc and the Ccaccacarcel. We will have lunch at the village of Pacchac. Then we will continue to join the Azuntina pass (3900m).
Arrival at Pumachaca village and visit of Wasi Inca ruins. Installation in our camp.

- Difference in altitude : 3000 – 4000 – 3600 meters.
INKA WASI – RACACHACA – HATUN PAMPA. (Trek).
Walking day on the original “Camino del Inca”. We will cross the Raccachaca community famous for its Lazuna glacier (5470m). Night in a camp (4000m).

- Walking time : 7 hours approximately. Climate : Cold.
- Difference in altitude : 3600 – 3700 – 4000 meters.
HATUN PAMPA – ABRA YANA COCHA – MOJON – MUTUY PATA. (Trek).
First stop in the Yanacocha pass, highest point of this trek (4420m), giving to you a wonderful panorama on the Salkantay glacier, located on the Machu Picchu mountain. View on another pass : Mojon. Then we will begin our descent in the middle of an humide vegetation to join Laco Cocha (3600m). Night in Mutuypata at the “Bosque Nublado” (3000m).

- Difference in altitude : 4000 – 4420 – 4400 – 4500 – 3250 meters.
MUTUY PATA – YANATILE – SANTA TERESA. (Trek)
Hiking day in the luxurious valley of Mutuypata, along th Sacsarayoc river.
We will continue our walk until Yanatile. Then we will reach the last point of our trek, the village of Santa Rosa.
Night in a camp (1850m). Possibility to visit thermal baths (30min on feet).

- Walking time : 5 hours approximately. Climate : hot.
- Difference in altitude : 3250 – 2100 – 1850 meters.
LA PLAYA – LLACTAPATA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUASCALIENTES. (End of the Trek).
Early in the morning, we will walk to the archeological site of Llactapata (2650m). After some hours of walk we will arrive in a strategic point where the Machu Picchu will appear just front of you.
Arrival in the Hydroelectric station (1950m) where we will take the train to Aguascalientes. Installation in our hostel.

- Walking time : 6 hours approximately. Climate : medium.
- Difference in altitude : 2100 – 2650 – 1950 – 2050 meters.
MACHU PICCHU VISIT – Back to OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO. (East Express Vistadome Train).
Around 06H30 departure in bus to join the citadel, possibility to go to the Sun Door in order to survey the Machu Picchu with the first sun lights. This third wonder of the world, found in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, American anthropologist, reaching 2400 high meters, will appear just front of you and will let you reflexive.
A site within an extraordinary beauty, in a tropical environment shows the apogee of the Inca Empire. The Machu Picchu will surprise you by its terraces, walls and impressive ramps in a natural setting.
Towards 1pm back to the village for the lunch.
Return to Aguascalientes railway station for your train to Ollantaytambo.
Upon your arrival, transfer in a private van to join Cusco city. Installation at your hostel.

Possibility for good walkers to climb the Huayna Picchu (don’t be scared of heights) or join the Sun door.
