LIMA – VISIT OF THE AREQUIPA CITY. (2335m) – (flight / private car).
Departure at 9 am in a private van with your guide to the airport for your flight to Arequipa, Peru’s second main city.

Reception and installation in your hostel.
With your guide, you will go to the San Camilo market, main sales center for local products in Arequipa. It has been built by Gustave Eiffel’s plans.
In this colored location, you will discover an important variety of Peruvian products, and a speacial environment.
In different places, several witches will propose you treatments and mixings to realize your wishes or take care of you. Far away you could also find herbal salesmen to treat your pains.

At the beginning of afternoon, guided tour of the largest convent of the world, an Unesco site, the “Santa Catalina monastery”. Built in 1579, its 20462m2 were composed of 450 recluses who didn’t have any contact with the external world until 1970. Commonly known as “White City”, we will traverse the streets of the town of a bright white, (due to the sillar, main construction material) to discover the wonderful Plaza de Armas (Greater Plaza) bordered by its majestic cathedral. At the end of day, return to you hostel.

AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON – COPORAQUE. (Private Van).
Towards 7am, departure in a private van with your guide to the typical village of Coporaque where your family will be waiting for your. During the route, we will cross the Aguada Blanca Reserve where we will see several vicunas. We will also cross the Patapampa pass (4900m). Short stop in a towerwatch where you could see the Sumbay Vizcachani, Toccra and Patapampa Chucura passes.

Arrival in Chivay and welcom by your family.
During the afternoon, you could discover the life of this amazing people. Then you could take benefit of a rest moment in the thermal baths located in this village.

COLCA CANYON – TITICACA LAKE. (Private van).
The morning, departure in a private car to join the Titicaca Lake. It is a transition day. Crossing of the Andean Cordillera, you will discover the Altiplano and its unusual landscapes.
During the route, visit of Sillustani’s Chullpas, circular funerary towels build out of stone and being able reach twelve meter. You will pass through Puno city to go to your hostel, enchanted place at the end of the world.

PUNO – CHUCUITO – LUQUINA CHICO. (Private Van).
At 8am departure, in a private van, to join the Luquina Chico peninsula, Aymara area. We will sail along the banks lake, this wild landscape and still virgin will leave us wistful. During our route we will visit Chucuito and the Peninsula of Plateria.
Change of setting, you will be transport in another forgotten world and will share the daily life of this community: Earth work, farming, artisanal cheese production.
Lunch with the family in all simplicity.
In the afternoon, “Arku Punku” visit on board of artisanal small ships, learning of their king of fishing.
Meals in family, typical evening around a fire camp, dances and music.

LUQUINA CHICO – TAQUILE – HUAYLLANO – UROS – PUNO. (Private Van).
Breakfast with the family, around 08h00 departure on a motorboat to join the Huayllano community, welcome by the Taquile families. Small walk and visit of the island. The community will teach us its ancestral customs (agriculture, weaving, natural medicine).
Typical lunch. At the beginning of the afternoon, we will go down the 527 steps of the island to join our boat in direction of waterborne Uros islands. Created in the XIII century by the Uros to escape from the Incas. Back to the Titilaka hostel, arrival around 5pm.

PUNO – CUSCO. (3360mts) – (Andean Explorer Train).
Early in the morning departure from Puno train station, to Andes’ train, first class Orient Express to Cusco.
This day permits appreciate unique landscapes from the Altiplano passing by our highest point “La Raya” with the altitude of 4320 meters where you will do a break.
During our route we will cisit Pukara, Raqchi and the Sixtine Chapel. Welcome by one of our guide and installation in your hostel.

VISIT OF THE CUSCO CITY. (Private Van).
“The Navel of the World” in Quechua, was the capital of the Inca´s Empire “Tawantinsuyu”. The legend tells that the city was found in XI or XII century by Manco Capac and Mama Oqllo, both were born at the Titicaca Lake, selected by the god to build this wonderful civilization.
Day dedicated at the discovery of Cusco and it sites. We will begin our visit by the sun temple “Qorikancha”, and the Cathedral, it construction begun in 1560 and finished in 1669. During the afternoon, we will go the 4 Incas ruins: Tambornachay Q’enko – Pukapucara – Sacsayhuaman. Return to Cusco, to discover the picturesque area of “San Blas”. Return to your hotel.

DAY 9:VISIT of the SACRED VALLEY – AGUASCALIENTES. (Private car and first class Inka Rail train).
Departure at 08H00 in a private car to the Pisac Village, strategic place for Incas to control the valley. Sunday, market day for neighbour communities. It’s more than one thousands colours which allow us to expose local products and the art diversity.
Lunch at the « El Huacatay » restaurant.
We will continue our route to the typical village named Ollantaytambo in honour of “Cacique Ollanta”. According to oral tradition, this “Cacique” was in love of a princess, daughter of the Inca Pachacutec. Visit of the stronghold.
Towards 4pm we will join the railway station to Aguascalientes, closed to the Machu Picchu. Installation in your hostel.

MACHU PICCHU VISIT – Back to OLLANTAYTAMBO. (East Express Vistadome Train).
Around 06H30 departure in bus to join the citadel, possibility to go to the Sun Door in order to survey the Machu Picchu with the first sun lights. This third wonder of the world, found in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, American anthropologist, reaching 2400 high meters, will appear just front of you and will let you reflexive.
A site within an extraordinary beauty, in a tropical environment shows the apogee of the Inca Empire. The Machu Picchu will surprise you by its terraces, walls and impressive ramps in a natural setting.
Towards 13h00 back to the village and lunch in the « El Indio Feliz » restaurant.
Return to the Aguacalientes railway station at 16h30 to Ollantaytambo.

OLLANTAYTANBO – MORAY – MARAS – CHINCHERO. (Private Van) – (Night in the Guest House).
Early in the morning, we will follow our road to go to the surprising « Salinas de Maras » salt water sources which have been flowed for centuries and still unexploited by the local population who rent one or several parcels.
From this place, we will discover Moray, Amphitheatre composed by several terraces disposed on concentric circles. In fact, it was an Inca agricultural research centre where was practiced cultural experience. Each terrace creates a microclimate where it’s possible to cultivate more than 250 plant’s varieties.
The Chinchero village based in Cusco campaign was entirely built, like Ollantaytambo, in Inca bases. To “Tupac Yupanqui” could repose himself during his displacement. It’s one of the rare villages who still own today, Incas traces. Its Church or all these terraces are the proof. Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed by families. Typical « Pachamama » dinner and evening with your family.

CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO. (Plane).
In the morning, transfer to the airport of Cusco for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, at Amazonian doors. Before to join our Lodge, we could visit the “Plaza de Armas”. From the watchtower you could discover a wonderful panorama on the union of these two rivers, the Madre de Dios river and the Tambopata river.
Then we will take on board a typical Amazonian boat for a 40-minute crossing. Welcome cocktail and installation in your bungalows. During the afternoon, first meeting with the forest through a walk to discover an important variety of medicinal plants, tropical trees, birds, insects, butterflies and other animals. Short break on a watchtower to observe Toucans, macows and other birds. (walk during 2h30 – 3h).
19h : Before the dinner, late night walk for a “Cayman Safari” in order to find the White Cayman (scientific name) which lives on the river’s banks. Free night in the Lodge.

PUERTO MALDONADO.
Wake up at 5.30 am for a 20-minute walk to arrive in Collpa de Loros, where more than 5 bird species eat a special clay, essential for their metabolism, a wonderful show of colors.
8.00 am : Breakfast and free time. Towards 10.30 am, we will navigate on the Madre de Dios for an expedition to Monkey Island, where live in total freedom some species of this very interesting animal. From there and after 30 minutes of crossing, we will enter on the Tambopata Candamo National Reserve territory. Walk of 5kms through the luxuriant tropical vegetation to join the Sandoval Lack.
Many animal species live in this environment : birds (as Sanshos, Kingfishers and Anhingas), monkeys (Wasitas, Cotomonos or Capuchin) We will sail to and fro acrross the lack in a canoe until the sunset which is a unforgettable show. In the end of the journey, return in the Lodge.

PUERTO MALDONADO.
(Lodge / Amazonia).Breakfast and free time to take benefit from the swimming-pool or to do some shopping in our typical Amazonian products shop. Then, we will navigate during 1 hour and half to visit the native community. During this trip you could observe monkeys, turtles, caimans and other birds. Upon your arrival among the native community, you could discover this culture, its language and habits through their clothes and dances
.At the beginning of afternoon, we will visit the Chacra which means “little native agricultural exploitation. You cold discover several tropical fruits and other local products and savour these typical products of the Selva.
Then the chacarero (local producer) will show you several tropical fruits, which you could taste, before he goes sell them to the main market of Puerto Maldonado.
