DAY 1:

LIMA – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT. (Jorge Chavez international Airport).

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative who will drive you in a private car directly to your hostel in the Miraflores district.

You could taste one of our national cocktails, “Pisco Sour or Algarobina”, and our guide you will do a summary of your trip and will be on your disposal to give an answer to all your questions.

DAY 2:

LIMA – CUSCO – CITY TOUR. (Plane).

Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Cusco. Reception and transfer to the Cusco hostel.

« God’s Gift to Mankind » en Quechua. Cusco has been the “Tawantinsuyu” Inca Empire capital. The legend tells the city was build during the XI or XII century by Manco Capac and Mama Oqllo after birth in the Titicaca Lake.

At the beginning of the afternoon, discovery of Cusco and its sites. On the upper parts of the town, you could find the “Sacsayhuaman” strongholds. A few kilometres further, there are the Qenko, Pukapukara and Tambomachay sites which Incas stone constructions.

At the end of afternoon, return to Cusco in order to discover the picturesque district of “San Blas”. Back to your hostel.

DAY 3:

OLLANTAYTAMBO – KM 82 – HUAYLLABAMBA – YUNCACHIMPA. (Beginning of the trek).

Camino del Inka

Early in the morning, departure in a private van to join the kilometer number 82 which will be the beginning of our walk to the Machu Picchu.

Meeting with our team : chefs and carriers.

Departure and after 3 hours you will do a break to have lunch. During our route, you will do a guided visit of the archeological complex of Llactapata. You will continue to walk to join our fist camp in Huyallabamba.

Camping.

  • Transport time : 2 hours.
  • Wailking time : 6 hours approximately.
  • Down : 3350 – 3100 – 3300 meters.
DAY 4:

WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSCA – PACAYMAYO. (Trekking).

After the breakfast, the most difficult part of our trek will begin. Walk to the highest point of the Camino del Inca where you will have a unbelievable panoramic view on the landscapes and where you could observe several climats. After three hour of walk you will reach the first show, named Warmiwañiusca (“show of the dead woman”), 4200m.

At this location, we will have an important feeling of success reaching the top. After the lunch you will continue your walk and will go down to Pacaymayo where you will camp and have dinner.

Camping.

  • Walking time : 7 hours.
  • Down : 3300 – 3850 – 4200 – 3500 – 3950 – 3650 meters.
DAY 5:

PACAYMAYO – PUYA PATAMARKA – WIÑAY HUAYNA. (Trekking).

After the breakfast, we will begin our down grade to join the second most important show, located at 3850m, with a guided visit of the archeological complex of Runkurakay and the Inca citadel of Sayacmarca.

We will continue our route to Puya Patamarka (village in clouds), another important archeological site where you could have your lunch. After a short rest you will walk to Wiñay Huayna to do another guided visit of this impressive archeological complex with its spectacular location.

  • Down : 3650 – 2650 meters.
DAY 6:

WIÑAY HUAYNA – MACHU PICCHU – OLLANTAYTAMBO.
(End of the Trekking).

Wiñay Huayna

After the breakfast, soft departure to arrive in the Machu Picchu site just for the sunrise. After one hour of walk through the forest to join the Inti Punku or “Sun Door”, also known as the entrance of Machu Picchu, we could have a wonderful panoramic view on the most impressive citadel.

At your arrival in the Machu Picchu, guided visit of the site during three hours, in order to show you the main places and monuments. After this visit you will take benefit of a free time to walk through the site. Then you will join back the rest of the group to take the car to the village of Aguascalientes.

Towards 14h00 we will take the train to Ollantaytambo where your private van will be there to drive you in Cusco.

El Indio Feliz Restaurant,

This restaurant with its thousands colors is the best table of the area, its chief Patrick, will take you along his mazes of savors in the middle of a surprising environment.

DAY 7:

OLLANTAYTAMBO – MORAY – MARAS – CHINCHERO – CUSCO. (Private car)

Moray Maras

Early in the morning, we will follow our road to go to the surprising « Salines de Maras » salt water sources which have been flowed for centuries and still unexploited by the local population who rent one or several parcels.

From this place, we will discover Moray, Amphitheatre composed by several terraces disposed on concentric circles. In fact, it was an Inca agricultural research centre where was practiced cultural experience. Each terrace creates a microclimate where it’s possible to cultivate more than 250 plant’s varieties.

The Chinchero village based in Cusco campaign was entirely built, like Ollantaytambo, in Inca bases. To “Tupac Yupanqui” could repose himself during his displacement. It’s one of the rare villages who still own today, Incas traces. Its Church or all these terraces are the proof. Return to Cusco. Installation at your hostel.

El Vaco Restaurant,

Vaco is a roomy place with an atmosphere where gastronomy, wines and savors are mixed in the South America sound.

Rustic environment where impressive colored paintings between some bunches of flowers are mingling with wood and iron.
