Excursion to the beautiful Andean region of Otavalo. Visit of the famous Indigenous market of Otavalo, the handicraft makers´villages: Peguche and Cotacachi; San Pablo and Cuicocha lakes, overlooked by the Imbabura and Cotacachi volcanoes. Night in Quito.

Drive along the Avenue of Volcanoes toward the Cotopaxi (19356 Ft). Visit of its park and possibility to go up to the refuge or visit of the Indigenous market of Pujili .Overnight in Cotopaxi.

Continue to the charming hot spring town of Baños, situated at the foot of the Tungurahua volcano. Walk to the extraordinary “Pailon del Diablo” waterfalls (or the following day). Tour and thermal bath on option. Overnight.

Drive to the Amazonia, the region of Tena. Arrival at a lodge in the forest, along the Napo River, a tributary of the Amazon river. Short walk in the surrounding forest or other activity. Dinner and night at the lodge.

Canoe ride and walk in the forest: observing flora, medicinal plants and possibly birds, animals. Then, visit of a small museum or a native animal shelter or other activities. Dinner and night at the lodge.

Drive back to the Andes, admiring tropical and Andean landscapes, to Riobamba at the foot of the highest Ecuadorian volcano: Chimborazo (20702 Ft). Night at the hotel.

Transfer to the train Station of Alausi and “Andean Train” through the famous Devil’s Nose up to Sibambe. Back to Alausi and drive to the beautiful city of Cuenca. Visit of the Inca Temple of Ingapirca and its small museum. Night at the hotel in Cuenca.

Visit of Cuenca and its historical center, classified as a World Cultural Heritage and visit of a “Panama hat” factory. Drive to the Littoral region, Guayaquil. Then Panoramic tour along the “Malecon”, the Guayas river up to the old quarter:”Las Peñas”. Farewell cocktail and night in Guayaquil.

Panoramic Tour of Guayaquil and optional visit of its Historical Park. Transfer to the airport and flight back home. Or flight to the Galapagos Islands. And cruise or land based tour of 5 days.
