CUSCO – FREE DAY. (Private Van).
Free day, from the morning, possibility to visit Cusco market with its thousand and one colors, served with its local products. Take the opportunity to taste one of our tasty fruit juice or to see one of our “Emolienteros” around the corner, who will prepare you, with delicacy, a natural plants or Kinois extract.
At the end of this journey, your guide will join you to do a briefing before the trek.

DAY 2: CUSCO – CACHORA – CHIQUISCA. (Trek).
Early in the morning, around 5:30 Am, we will let Cusco city to go in privet van to Cachora Village, place where we will met our porters team.
After having preparing our stuff and perusing of the security measures and of our itinerary; we will begin our walk to the Pass of Capuliyoc (2 800 meters). An unrestricted and panoramic view which let us see the mystical mountain of Padreyoc and the Apurímac Canyon.
During our descent in the canyon, temperatures, weathers, vegetations will change.
Once in the canyon, we will go to our camp place in the forest of Choquisca (1 930 meters). Arrival at the end of the day, unique evening in an exceptional place.

CHIQUISCA – PLAYA ROSALINA – MARAMPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO. (Trek).
After breakfast, beginning of the walk to Playa Rosalína (1 550 meters), then we will begin our ascension with a positive difference in height (1 300 meters), to go to the Marapata Community (2 850 meters)
From there, and for the first time, we will discover the site of Choquiquirao (3 033 meters). This unique spectacle with the majestic condor flying will let us think.
We will install the camp at 25 minutes of the archeological site. Magic evening, where our native guides will tell us the history of the site.

CHOQUEQUIRAO – PASO CHOQUEQUIRAO – RIO BLANCO. (Trek).
Early in the morning and after the breakfast, departure to Choquequirao in order to see the sun on this site, these lights will charm you. We could have an access to all these positive energies.
We will visit the site which 30% has been restored; whereas we think that it is on more than 1800 hectares. The rest is under a exuberant vegetation, a great mystery for sciences.
We will continue our route in this valley, we will visit the ruins of Pinchaunuyoc (2450m) and we will end our hiking in the White River Canyon where we will spend the night.

- Difference in altitude : 3033 – 3350 – 3270 – 2450 – 1900 meters.
RIO BLANCO – MAIZAL – PASO SAN JUAN – YANAMA. (Trek).
Early in the morning, departure. This day will be more difficult, but spectacular by this diversity of ecosystem. After a difference in height of 1110 meters, arrival at Maizal (3000 meters) where we could have a rest and where we could contemplate this surprising landscape.
Continuation of our walk, we will take the Inca way (which are, because of the bad weather, in bad condition), however, it will not be an obstacle to take the pass of San Juan, which let us see a mountain range and a glacier suspended at more than 5000 meters.
We will arrive at Yanama (3 530 meters), installation of the camp.

- Difference in altitude : 1900 – 3000 – 4200 – 3530 meters.
YANAMA – PASO YANAMA – TOTORA PAMPA. (Trek).
Departure, early in the morning from the highest point of our trek « yanamana » (4 670 meters), from there, we will have the possibility to appreciate the majestic Condor flight and observe snow-covered mountains as Salkantay (6264 meters) and Pintuty (5450 meters).
Then we will follow our walk and descent until the camp based in the Totota Pampa Valley (3200 meters). Installation of the camp.

TOTORA PAMPA – LA PLAYA. (Trek).
After breakfast, we will go to La Playa (2100 meters). Day of quiet walk, at this altitude, we will discover how the locale population farm its lands in spite of the altitude and the climate not always mild. The flora lusher at this altitude will reveal us a Orchid variety, bomareas, and fruit culture as papaya and grenade. Arrival at the end of the day and installation of the camp.

Note :
Possibility to continue our hiking to enjoy the Santa Teresa thermal baths, 1830m.
DAY 8:LA PLAYA – LLACTAPATA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUASCALIENTES. (Fin de Trek).
Early in the morning, continuation of the walk until the archeological site of Llctapata (2650 meters). Then, after several hours of walk, we will arrive to our strategically point where the Machu Picchu will reveal us it magnitude.
Arrival at the hydroelectric station (1950 meters) place where we will take a train, to Aguacalientes Village based at the bottom of the Machu Picchu. Arrival and settling in your hotel.

- Walking time : around 6 hours. Climate : medium.
- Difference in altitude : 2100 – 2650 – 1950 – 2050 meters.
MACHU PICCHU VISIT – Back to OLLANTAYTAMBO – CUSCO. (East Express Vistadome Train).
Around 06H30 departure in bus to join the citadel, possibility to go to the Sun Door in order to survey the Machu Picchu with the first sun lights. This third wonder of the world, found in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, American anthropologist, reaching 2400 high meters, will appear just front of you and will let you reflexive.
A site within an extraordinary beauty, in a tropical environment shows the apogee of the Inca Empire. The Machu Picchu will surprise you by its terraces, walls and impressive ramps in a natural setting.
Towards 13h00 back to the village and lunch in the « El Indio Feliz » restaurant.
Return to the Aguacalientes railway station at 16h30 to Ollantaytambo.
Upon your arrival you will be transported in a private car to join your hostel in Cusco.
Suggestion :
Possibility for good walkers to climb the Huayna Picchu (don’t be scared of heights) or join the Sun door.
